You don’t need to own a single grape vine to be in the winemaking business. Many wineries rely on the services of others to connect them with the right juice. This week on Grape Encounters, host David Wilson introduces you to one such wheeler and dealer who helps winemakers with their grower relations. Gary Agajanian of Agajanian Vineyards shares his story and expertise as not only a winemaker, but also a negotiant and wine merchant.

William Bloxsom-Carter is the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director at the Playboy Mansion. He makes a return visit to Grape Encounters and shares more of his love and expertise of vino. David Wilson gets some insight on three decades of serving up great food and wine at one of America’s most famous estates while working for the legendary Hugh Hefner.

And, Sunset Magazine wine editor Sara Schneider is in the kitchen with David this week concocting wine cocktails that will keep you cool all Summer long in this edition of our Sipping with Sara segment.
