What We Experienced at Jean-Charles Boisset’s Napa Gras!

In this very special edition of Grape Encounters Radio, Host David Wilson takes you to the annual wine event that everybody wishes they could go to… but it’s an A-list, invitation only soirée, and if you’re fortunate enough to be on the list, you’re in for a night of glitz, mischief and provocative merriment like nothing you’ve ever imagined… aerial performers, burlesque dancers, bubbly pouring every where you turn… and all spectacularly orchestrated and hosted by perhaps the most colorful figure in the wine world… Jean-Charles Boisset. Jean Charles is the namesake of Boisset Family Estates, and this week, David takes you to Jean-Charles’ renowned Raymond Vineyard in the Napa Valley where Napa Gras 2016 guarantees an extraordinary time for all 700 of his guests. Every great party needs at least one great attorney, and the first partygoer to join David in his Napa Gras Studio is KC Branch, one of the world’s leading wine lawyers with offices on multiple continents.
Then David introduces you to two very important visitors all the way from China, Sunny Zhang and Nong Xia, who probably weren’t prepared for what they were now experiencing. In the second half of the show, Grape Encounters takes you into a room with 17 beautiful burlesque and (let’s just call them “Golden Girl”) dancers and, of course, the world’s most flamboyant winemaker. With 700 revelers right outside the makeshift studio door, you could only be at Jean-Charles Boisset’s Napa Gras!
