This week, we wrap up our visit to Mendocino Wine country with two fascinating interviews featuring two of the region’s most respected wine producers.
While other 10-year-old boys were out catching frogs and lizards, Charlie Barra was learning how to care for a vineyard. This year was Charlie’s 66th consecutive harvest, which helps explain why his name is synonymous with Mendocino Wine. But, before we visit with Charlie in his living room, we’d like to introduce you to Dennis Patton who has done much to bring Mendocino Wine to the masses via popular retailers such as the beloved grocery chain Trader Joe’s. Dennis is an incredible marketer and innovator whose knowledge of the wine business is second to none!
Finally, with the holidays upon us, our wine gadget guru, Matt DuBow shares some stocking stuffer and Secret Santa suggestions sure to satisfy!
