There are two very high profile wine symposiums coming up soon that are attracting participants from across the globe, thanks in large part to the two remarkable women who are at the helm. In only its second year, the Women of the Vine symposium in the Napa Valley was almost an immediate sellout and has attracted extraordinarily high profile exhibitors and speakers from every corner of the wine world. It is the brainchild of Deborah Brenner, President and Founder of Women of the Vine and author of the book bearing the same name. Join David as he checks in with Deborah one year after her first symposium which was also a raging success right out of the gate.

From the most popular symposium ever focused on the role of women in the world of wine to a global symposium all about the world’s favorite wine, David welcomes to the Grape Encounters studio Linda Parker-Sanpei, Director of the International Chardonnay Symposium. Though Chardonnay may have had a long run as the wine of choice for the rich and (sometimes) pretentious, the exchange between David and Linda is anything but. You may love Chardonnay, but we can guarantee that it has never been this fun!
